We had previously bought a horse from Good Sheperd for driving our carriages and wagons,we have had him to numerous events and is very well behaved does what we ask of him. I was looking for a new horse for myself and went back to Good Sheperd. I told the owners I wanted a trail horse. I had a choice of 4 horses and my husband and I picked Carla. She is broke to ride and drive. I have owned her for 3 weeks. She was not used for trails but has took to them as if she was born to it. I took her to a 4 day trail event in Sonoita. The country is tall grass, rocky and steep hills. Had to criss-cross areas and go up and down. Very sure footed and wants to please. Carla loves what I love doing and we have many many more happy trails ahead for us. Thank you Good Sheperd for listening to what I wanted and needed and supplying me with different options!! I highly recommend Good Sheperd for your next horse.

We purchased our horse Levi (previously Argyle) from The Good Shepherd Ranch and could not be happier with him.  Francesca was so wonderful to deal with.  She was patient with me answering all my questions and addressing my concerns. She was honest with me about our horse and disclosed all his quirks as any horse has a few.  I found them to be less of issue then she even said and Levi has exceeded our expectations.  Not to mention, he is just so darn pretty.  Everywhere we go he stands out and is getting compliments on what a beautiful and good boy he is. We had previously had very bad experiences with horse sellers so to say I was apprehensive about buying a horse sight unseen from another state is a huge understatement.  The Good Shepherd Ranch restored my faith and gave me my love back again for riding.  Levi has rebuilt my confidence and I am having so much fun with him.  I can go

out riding and feel safe knowing my horse has an excellent mind set and takes great care of me.  I would absolutely give them a 5 star review and I will not be going anywhere else should we want to purchase another horse in the future.  I recommend them to anyone looking for their next equine partner.
