a 12-13 year old, 15.3-16 hand Clydesdale cross gelding
rides and drives double or single
This boy is a beautiful, forward mover and very athletic.

If you're wanting a lovely draft cross with fancy movement that would work great in an arena or be a great prospect for English work, arena sports or possibly dressage then consider this guy!

Great under saddle on the trails or driving on the streets. Very street and traffic safe. Has shown us absolutely no spook, jump, rear, buck or bolt.

Rides out alone really well also, will easily split from the other horses on trails, does great as a lead horse on trails.

Ronan has a great trot and lope and easily gives it.

He drives nice double or single, likes to travel, stands nice when asked and hooks up to the buggy or wagon very quiet.

Rides and drives in a "O" ring snaffle bit.
Sound, Good for farrier, Ties, loads, hauls, & bathes.

A 14yr old 15 hand Rocky mountain gaited gelding
Rocky rides and drives

ROCKY, A 14yr old 15 hand Rocky mountain gaited gelding.
Rocky rides and drives single.

Rocky is great on trails and drives super great. He's very traffic and road safe!

Would be a great horse for a first time driver or someone wanting to learn driving.

Rocky is nice and easy on the trails as well.

Has a fabulous lope and will gait. His Gaits are nice.
Rides great in a simple "O" ring snaffle bit.

Great with other horses in a turn out/ social setting.

Rocky also: ties, loads, hauls, bathes and stands for the farrier.

a 7yr old 16-16.1 hand Draft cross gelding
Rides & Drives double or single

TOBIAS is a gorgeous, stout, 7yr old, 16-16.1 hand
black and white spotted draft gelding.

Tobias is a lovely, non-excitable trail and buggy/ Driving gelding.

He drives single or double and is super easy going/ laid back. This guy generally doesn't get in a hurry but will trot and lope when asked. Has a lovely trot & nice smooth lope.

Would prefer to follow then lead but he has led out trail rides and we've also taken him riding out alone and have separated from the others when out on trail.

Stands great for saddling & Harness, also nice & easy to hook up to buggy.
Also stands to mount at a mounting block.

Tobias rides in a simple "O" ring snaffle bit.

Tobias would be a great horse for someone who likes to mosey on down the trails under saddle or harness.

Tobias is Very much a man of leisure & would get along with beginners or advanced riders.

This guy is traffic & street safe. Good around cattle.

Tobias loves attention and affection, would make a great horse for a therapy type program or job with a lot of stimulus as nothing much bothers him & he will stand like a statue at a hitch rail for hours to get love & grooming.

100% sound.

Tobias also: loads, hauls, bathes, clips and stands great for the farrier!

Big Mac

a 10yr old Trail & Driving

Registered Clydesdale gelding

Mac - a very handsome, 9yr old registered 17.1-2 hand Clydesdale gelding. Rides & Drives.

Mac is a big, beautiful, sweet gelding. He is the first one to run up & say hello when he is turned out. Mac loves people & attention!

Has a beautiful, thick mane & non-docked, thick tail.

Mac would be ideal for an dude string or therapy style program as he loves attention of any kind, especially if there is a treat involved.

We have done public events with Mac, weddings & trail ridden him all over our Arizona desert. Has pushed/worked wild cattle. Will go through water.

For a big guy Mac has smooth gaits & will step into a nice collected lope when asked.

Mac is great out on trails but would much rather follow then lead, although will lead or ride alone when asked. Will also split from the other horses on trail when asked, but if he has a choice he will follow every time.

Does great in a turn out with other horses, mares or geldings. Does have a very friendly/playful kind of attitude.

Mac also: Ties, loads, hauls, bathes, clips, & does great for the farrier.
Mac is 100% sound & up to date with worming, vaccines & dental!

Graham Cracker

a 13.3-14 hand paint pony
Trail rides & Drives
Graham is a plucky 12yr old 13.3-14 hand paint pony that is put together well, fabulous on trails and drives great!

We have used Graham for driving lessons and have done a lot of trail riding with him.

He's not easily spooked, will lead or follow out on trails and we do split from the other horses out on trail quite often.

Graham has a great one rein/ flex, rides wonderful in a simple "O" ring snaffle bit.

He's a go getter, not a lazy type and just a lot of fun to ride or drive. Rides bareback with a halter, will pony other horses, and has pushed cattle for us.

Has a good energetic walk, so keeping up with big strided horses is not a problem.

No buck or rear, he's the kind of horse you just get on and go.

If your wanting a smaller ladies horse to drive or trail ride all over and you like a responsive horse then this is your guy.

Graham is VERY traffic/ road safe, great with other horses in a turn out/ social setting.
And An easy keeper. Easy to catch in a large turn out area.
Graham also: ties, loads, hauls, & bathes.

A perfect description that matched the horse we went to see (and buy). Good people with quality horses. I highly recommend!

Outstanding ! I have purchased 2 horses from Francesca. Being a lifetime owner of horses and Show jumping East Coast over 20 yrs, moving to Arizona I had lost my Equestrian Network. Right away talking to Francesca I felt comfortable ! She is Honest ! I got 2 Amazing horses from her ! I highly recormend her when purchasing your next horse ! Thanks Francesca, Lynn !!

Lynn Hughes

I am so thankful for Good Shepherd Ranch! They were so gracious to spend time with us and help us pick out two horses that perfectly suited our family. Their knowledge and advice is worth its weight in gold! Our horses are beautiful and healthy and have the greatest dispositions. It is awesome to have horses that are patient around small children and yet have great energy for the more advanced riders. We are so thrilled to be new horse owners! Thank you, Good Shepherd Ranch!
